At Cherokee Park Ranch, we warmly welcome children! In fact, we have an entire program on our ranch dedicated to just kids! They have the opportunity to hang out with our fun and professional kids’ counselors from 9:30am until 4pm every day. We have spent the last 20 years building the ultimate western vacation for all ages to ensure there is truly something for everybody. Kiddos will craft together, play together, help feed critters together, learn together, ride horses together, build confidence together, and make lasting memories together. Our kids’ program gives parents the ability to ride, hike, bike, swim, and relax on their vacation knowing their children are in excellent hands. On Wednesday nights, we have a kids-only slumber party in our giant teepee complete with a campfire, s’mores, and capture the flag. Our gentle, ranch-raised horses are the perfect companion for your youngsters and together they will cross the river, chase cows, climb hills, go on lunch rides, and become the best of friends. Once a week, the kiddos will complete a horsemanship class where they will get to saddle up their own horse! We will keep them busy all day long but offer many activities to bring the family together: hayride, square dance, fish, art class, swim in the pool, skeet shoot, river raft, van trips to nearby towns, staff show, rodeo, and so much more.
